The mission of AFP-GHC seeks to develop youth leadership, facilitate youth-driven philanthropy, promote youth awareness of the “common good” and social responsibility, expand youth horizons about careers in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors, and increase youth knowledge about the nonprofit sector and local community needs. Through these efforts, AFP-GHC has created several opportunities for non-profit organizations to collaborate with schools and youth in the community.
