Thurgood Marshall College Fund Scholarships

Merit based and applicants must have a financial need to qualify

  1. Restricted for payment of tuition, on campus room and board, books and fees
  2. Paid directly to the college or university on behalf of the award recipient to be credited to his or her school account
  3. The average award is $3,100.00 per student per semester
  4. All scholarship award recipients must re-apply annually

TMCF Scholarship Criteria:

  1. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 
  2. Student Aid Report
  3. Attend one of the 47 TMCF member-schools
  4. Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
  5. Demonstrate leadership qualities and community service 
  6. Signed recommendation letter by a faculty or staff member of your current school

All classifications of students are invited to apply for a TMCF scholarship.

WHERE EDUCATION PAYS OFF®

Most awards are available to students attending TMCF member-schools, which are public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). To receive updates and notifications when new scholarship information is posted, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.

For over 25 years, TMCF has provided scholarships to qualified students attending its member-school network. Our scholarships are merit and need-based and the application process is highly competitive.
